To gather objective feedback and minimize bias, general public can submit safety reviews by answering fact-based questions covering the five safety dimensions. Additionally, for dedicated Google Maps Local Guides, question cards are prompted while they are at the location, minimizing the effort required to recall current safety conditions.

Streamline content discovery

We turn complex financial ideas into simple, more digestive content modules to drive user engagement through delightful discovery channels. I worked with the team to design a wide range of learning preferences and content styles to help users find the most suitable piece of information.

As part of Guardian Life Insurance, Living Confidently is a resource platform that provides educational tools and guidance to help individuals make informed decisions about their financial future. The client came to us with a need for a radical transformation to increase content relevance and refreshed visuals to gain customer traction. The redesigned website was launched in January 2023.

My role:

Problem

  • The current site has an abundance of content that is challenging to locate. Bits and pieces of information are scattered without a clear path for discovery, making it difficult for financial representatives to guide clients through the site and assist them in finding relevant information

  • Content modules lack scalability, posing challenges to updating the information quickly and regularly, as well as accessing them from various device sizes 

  • Does not comply with WCAG guidelines

Delightful Visual Language

The redesign aims to convey the feeling that financial confidence begins with emotional well-being. The new design thoughtfully integrates playful graphics that visually depict the fundamental elements and essential concepts of financial planning, removing the intimidating aspect of financial planning for viewers.

Adhering to accessibility compliance standards, I worked on ensuring the new platform's accessibility across different devices while complying with WCAG standards. This involved optimizing color accessibility and making it screen-reader friendly.
